The following is the doctrinal statement of the Abundant Life Baptist Church as it appears in our constitution. Scripture references are given in order to substantiate the beliefs. It is not important what man says but what God says in all matters.
We believe in the Bible, consisting of all sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments as the inspired Word of God, without error in all the original manuscripts, as our sole guide for Christian faith and practice. (II Timothy 3:16, 17; Psalm 18:30)

We believe in one God, eternally existing, manifesting himself in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Genesis 1:1,2; John 1:1,2; Matthew 3:16, 17)

We believe in Jesus Christ, as the only begotten Son of God. We believe in his deity, humanity, virgin birth, sinless life, substitutionary death, bodily resurrection, ascension and ultimate return. (Phillippians 2:6-11; Luke 1:26-38; II Corinthians 5:21; John 19,20; Acts 1:1-11; Revelation 19:11-21)

We believe in the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in all believers, enabling them to live in loving obedience to God. (Galatians 5:19-23; Ephesians 1:13; Acts 1:8)

We believe that all persons are created by God, in God's image and likeness, and that all have sinned and are in need of a Savior. (Genesis 1:26-28; Romans 3:10,23)

We believe that by faith we are saved by the finished work of Christ on the cross, receiving Him as Lord and Savior. (Ephesians 2:8,9; Romans 5:8, 6:23, 10:9,10)

We believe that the church is the body of Christ, consisting of all believers, with Jesus as it's only head. (I Corinthians 15:9; Ephesians 5:22,27; I Corinthians 1:2)

We believe that the ordinances of the church are believers baptism by immersion in water and the Lord's Supper. (Matthew 28:19.20; Romans 6:3-7; Acts 8:34-40; I Corinthians 11:20-34; Matthew 26:26-28)
